Dogs

I was with Heather Y. inside a very complicated office building that was lit like a library and lined with mahogany bookshelves. We were looking for her accountant. It was some kind of emergency.

We finally found his office and had to climb some stairs and wait for him on a balcony. I young man came out who was in his 20’s. He was wearing a black leather kilt and no shirt. He also had on a spiked collar. Heather demanded to speak to her accountant and insisted that it was not legal for him to be unreachable.

The kilt guy said he was sorry, but he didn’t really know the guy and had no idea where he was. Then he explained that he had to get back to work because someone was coming to adopt a dog soon. I leaned forward and peered into the office the kilt guy had emerged from, and saw there were a bunch of dogs in there. I asked him if I could come see the animals and he said it was fine. Once inside, the kilt guy showed me a baby piglet. It had just broken both of its hind legs.

Suddenly I remembered that Callie was downstairs with Megan and I got really nervous that she had somehow escaped her leash and was attacking everyone. I ran downstairs and Callie was still on her leash, playing with people and having a good time. Megan came over and said we missed the bus and she really wanted to take the next one. Megan, Callie and I all ran across a field toward the bus stop. It was a long distance to run, and we were running really fast, but it felt good and Callie was so happy.
