Bedroom

I was in the process of redecorating my bedroom, which was a lot like a room that would be in a cottage in the woods in a fairytale.  There were multiple windows which were small and set high on the wall, and they were covered with little curtains that had cardinals on them.

Megan and some tall, skinny cowboy in his 50’s came to drop of a dresser of mine. The cowboy wore a big ridiculous cowboy hat and his clothing was dark from head to toe. The handles had fallen off the dresser so I had to screw them back on. While I did this, the cowboy inspected my room. He said it was a nice, but he was concerned about something being out-of-place. His approval was very flattering to me.

I tried to move the dresser I’d just fixed but one of the legs broke off and it kept falling over. I was trying to prop it up with books, but it still fell over and I was very frustrated. The books were library books that I’d checked out as a child but never returned. They were about different religions. One of them had a picture of a traditionally dressed Native American on the front.

At some point I tried to use my computer and it was malfunctioning. It was playing a morning show from a local radio station, and I was pissed because I hate radio morning shows. I called Erin to complain and she was in a bad mood but sympathized with me.

A stray yorkie ran though my yard. Megan let it in the house and I got really excited because I wanted it. The yorkie was running around the house with Megan’s dog and Callie. Callie was a black lab like my childhood dog, Molly.

Megan had to leave to work at a cat show. Talena came over to tell me about her sleepless night and how she was in a funk. She wanted to hang out, but I lied and said I was working the cat show with Megan. I really just wanted to stay home and enjoy my bedroom.
